Our commitment to quality and constant improvement has enabled us to become one of the leading robot suppliers in the world, with over 24,000 units installed in North America and over 80,000 units installed worldwide.The challenges of developing systems for our customers vary. Each case must be carefully considered. For some of our customers, the solution lies in a single stand-alone robot. For others, the solution is far more complex. In this case, Kawasaki Robotics has the capability to design, assemble, test and run off an entire turnkey system offering comprehensive project management from concept to implementation.Our parent company, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.,(KHI) is involved in R&D, engineering, manufacturing and service-oriented tasks. KHI was established as a shipbuilder in 1896. Today, KHI has 21 manufacturing facilities worldwide; four in the United States and one in the United Kingdom. Kawasaki entered into the robotic business in 1968 with a technology license agreement with Unimation.Kawasaki Robotics headquarters is located in Wixom, Michigan along with our North American Training Center. Satellite offices are located across North America in order to accommodate our customers' needs.Kawasaki Robotics realizes that our greatest resource is our employees.
