Kawasaki offers a full line of rebuilding and repair services on all
Kawasaki E, U and J-series robots. These services provide a cost effective
option that extends the service life of your robots. Our refurbishment
department is located in Wixom, Michigan with an additional high volume
facility located in our Lincoln, Nebraska manufacturing plant. Our experienced
robot mechanics have all the tools, equipment and expertise necessary
to perform factory level maintenance and repairs on all models of Kawasaki
robots.
In 1998, Kawasaki initiated formal robot refurbishment and overhaul services
at the Wixom plant with business growing at a fast pace. After refurbishing
twenty-five robots in the first year, our refurbishing services continued
to grow and in 2000 we successfully refurbished eighty five robots. Our
process capability has increased from one robot per week to two robots
per day with the addition of our Lincoln facility. We presently have the
capability of storing sixty robots, which can simplify customer-handling
logistics.
